Most of the servers and line cooks are great. I absolutely love their French toast. That’s all I can say nicely about this restaurant.
my wife eats gluten- and dairy-free. almost nothing on the menu is marked and the waitress knew nothing. as for food, my wife's burger was burnt on the surface and looked like there was filler. not 100% beef. the toast for my Reuben was so dry the dressing could not save it and the corned beef both exceedingly dry and flavorless. could not finish it.

We arrived at the Black Bear location in Beaumont, Tx at approximately 9:05 tonight. Our order was placed at 9:15 p.m. We received our order at 9:53 p.m. and it was all cold! Upon receiving our order, we discovered that it was not prepared as ordered. When we complained about the food being cold, the manager, Fred Wright, told us if we take the COLD food we didnt have to pay but he was nit going to remake our order because they close at 10 p.m. Whe I ask to speak to Fred again, he refused to come out. this was BY FAR the worst service I have EVER experienced! waited over an hour for our food. when our food arrived it was cold. manager came over and "said" he took 50% off. no he lied. we played full price and left. NEVER in my life have I ever had such a bad restraunt experience. sad to say the least. hope no one else has the experience we did.it has a very RACIAL staff.

not as good as other Black Bear diners, but I understand they are new at this location as well as not everything on menus as other locations this would be a great place for travelers just not what I was expecting

absolutely terrible service we have been here over and hour our drinks have been empty and they said our order got canceled and they didnt tell us anything till we started trying to hunt down a server to find out what was going on and begging for drinks this place is a joke
