I was waiting for the crowds to die down, and finally went yesterday. I sat at the bar, and had good service and enjoyed my food. I've been to Black Bear before in Oregon and enjoyed it then as well.
My Wife Virginia and I have just moved to Cottonwood and will be visiting often - our meal was excellent and the service outstanding.

It was our first time there and the food was AMAZING!!! The best Eggs Benedict I've ever had!! We will definitely be back again!! Can't wait to try lunch & dinner!! The staff was wonderful too!

Good food and good service. Recently opened and I understand they had issues upon opening, but this was a Friday dinnertime and everything went well.
