We love the food at Black Bear and have for years at the Sandy and West Jordan locations, but the management at the Draper location needs some more training on how to manage their employees. You don't have to be rude and condescending while giving instructions.
First time at this location. Best Black Bear Diner experience ever!!! Our server, Kishari, was outstanding!!

Black Bear Diner has my business for a long time now!!! Thank you to Hollie (our waitress), the manager and chefs cooking our dinner today!!! I have 2 boys with dairy allergies, and my niece in town with dairy allergies. When we explained the allergy to Hollie she immediately went to find out if there was diary in the French toast mix or in the apples, the manager came and talked to us and said that they would just scramble up some eggs for the French toast and that the apples were fine and even read the ingredients to us... read more
Thank you to the Hollie (waitress), manager and cooks (at the Draper, UT location) who helped my grandchildren enjoy the French Toast they wanted. They made it using just scrambled up eggs (no dairy added, that is in the usual banter, since all three children can't have dairy). As my grandson said "That was SO good!" It really made their day!
This is the first I have been in that was built from the ground up. Really like the look.
