I loved Black Bear Diner and used to go there all the time. That is the restaurant on Academy my husband took me to the day before he passed away. It was a wonderful day that day. It took me a few months to go back to Black Bear but when I did I’m glad I went. I just started going to the one on Garden of the Gods. Still wasn’t the same and nearly broke down and had a panic attack but I made it through. I still remember what his last meal was and will never forget it.

The breakfast 🍳 there pancakes 🥞 are larger, you get more bacon 🥓,and the sausage is delicious 😋
Had a delicious meal! And the homemade banana cream pie was outstanding for dessert! Had friends visiting from out of town and they loved this place! We'll come back!
