In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Great food, excellent service. No reservations taken, long wait. Seated a table of 11 with only 5 there, while we had all ten. Poor night staffing
