In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We went in for dinner last night. The place was packed but they got us seated fairly fast, Angel our waiter went out of his way to take care of us. Due to them running out of one type of cheese the manager gave my husband his dinner on the house. We were already jazzed at getting a restaurant that we like in the area, but they are going above and beyond to make their guests feel taken care of and at home. Thanks we will definitely be back!!!
