Stopped by on the way home from Disneyland. My boyfriend and I were at a loss for what to eat and decided to try Black Bear out. We were greeted and seated right away. The host, I think his name was Fernando, was super nice. It was our first time and I loved how cute the menus were, especially with all the local news print. Our server was Bree(?), who was really patient while I took forever to make up my mind on what I wanted. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak and I got chicken and waffle. Food was great, service excellent but.... there was a fly over us that just wouldn't go away, hate these little pests especially when we're eating!!

Black bear diner is a throw back to down home cooking, love it ,great comfort food
