I ordered my omelette with a couple of substitutions and it took them remaking my omelette 2 times to get it right. In addition the portion sizes aren't consistent and changes with the cook and the waitress had to be asked to get coffee. I'm now eating breakfast and my entire family has already finished their food. Terrible first impression, very disappointing. Changed the review from 2 to 1 star... We had finally decided to give it a try, heard the food was awesome. We're we disappointed. After 30 minutes from the time we placed our order, 2 adults and 2 children, my burger was cold, my bacon was raw, the onion rings tasted like fish it was horrific. My husband had corn beef hash , his over easy eggs were still clucking and my daughters cinnamon french toast was gooey in the middle. My youngest daughters pancake was rubbery. We were so excited to see the black bear diner come to Gresham. We have eaten at the grants pass, madras and Beaverton all had excellent service and food. The Gresham location however was somewhat lacking my husband and I both ordered the cheeseburger basket, mine was to be a lettuce wrap and hubs was to be regular with onion rings(he has had them at other locations and found them delicious) greshams we obviously frozen, dry and flavorless. His burger came as a lettuce wrap as well and neither of us had the yummy pickles o... read more
