In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. They were super busy but we were seated quickly. Omg- the food was wonderful! The ROLLS?! Holy cow y’all have to try em!! Pancakes?! -so good! Service was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly. We sat at the counter , so we chatted with the owner/ manager and the GM in from California and had a really pleasant visit. Been waiting for y’all to open... we’ll definitely be back! 5+
