In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Awesome! Excellent food, service, music of 50's and most of all reminds me of Oregon and Washington Restaurants! Shasta is a beautiful place to visit and Vacation. I highly recommend. Definitely will be coming back!

The server's we're great food was even better it was super busy but got taken care of right away! Well worth the trip from san gabriel.
