I've been to Black Bear a handful of times now, and we always get amazing service and food - today was no exception. Our server was Maurice (Mo) and he was attentive and friendly, and responded to our needs before we could even ask. One of the best waiters to ever serve us. Thanks, we'll be back!

This morning my husband took me here for my birthday breakfast. It was a wonderful experience because Katie offered us a table even though we were there a few minutes early. Once we sat down, she was wonderful and offered us immediate service and made sure to have a conversation with us that was welcoming. My husband had been reluctant to take me here because we have had a different experience with the Puyallup location, but I had suggested we should try this location before we ruled out Black Bear Diner for good. Love reuben sandwiches and is by far one of the best in Tacoma. Cant wait to try other things. Like the decor of black bears and wood art outside the eatery.
