In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Fantastic food, quick service, mangement and employees are stellar, friendly and efficient. Went for breakfast and then did take out for dinner the same day! Online ordering was a snap and food was ready as soon as I arrived and ready to go. We are so lucky we have this new Black Bear Diner on LV Blvd S!!!!!

My husband Jimmy Gooch and I stopped there on our way back to NCAL. We were so impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and the manager. We had he fortune of sitting at the counter and watch the servers and the runners make sure each plate as perfect before it went out. If things didn't look perfect - they asked Chef to fix. I also enjoyed them enjoying each other. Laughing and getting it done. We will be back on our way in and out of town. Well done!
