In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Had breakfast with my son, 2 Glizzley plates. Food was great, service was warm & friendly, and I was full all day! Each experience is wonderful, we can't wait to go back!!

First time there. Best breakfast I really enjoyed it. Great pancakes every thing was delicious. Servers were pleasant. Love the anbient friendly workers. Love the chairs at the counter. When I left my stomach my eyes and spirit was were satisfy.

Great diner - food was delicious, service was over the top friendly and efficient! A little pricey for breakfast but the serving size is larger than the average bear so understandable! Hope the place does well so we can come back next year!
The atmosphere was great. The bears came out and we took a couple pictures. The food was awesome and we had to take some home. Everyone was so friendly. I had a great time.
FANTASTIC!! Great food and our waitress Zoe was GREAT!!! She gave wonderful service, she made sure everything was ok. She cared and Black Bear Diner is lucky to have her. Management came and asked us several times how everything was. I live in Temecula Southern California and we need a Black Bear in our town. Highly recommended ���
