Me and my wife Nancy started eating at the Black bear in Monterey California this was about 16 years ago. I understand from the manager at the Sahara diner that's store has been closed. I have eaten at Black bear diners in Utah California here in Vegas, they are all very very good a lot of food and the service is always great !!

I am not one to go out and eat but this place makes me feel am at home eating good food with my family ! Big servings too ! I'd keep going back ... coleslaw is like how my mom's coleslaw tasted so definitely a plus for me !!!

Great food and a lot of it...nice atmosphere...servers are extremely friendly and very reasonably priced..
