RecommendedThe green beans were just like my grandmother's. The bacon... I have no words, other than... JUST ORDER IT! The coconut cream pie was amazing with a cup of their signature coffee. My only complaint was that the hash browns were cooked too fast, so they were overdone on the outside and underdone on the inside. I'll most definitely eat there, again!

This restaurant is so loud. The food and service is very good, but the ambient noise level is ridiculous. It is toped off by the kitchen staff yelling orders at each other.

I had dinner at the League City, TX, location. I ordered the Santa Maria Tri-Tip dinner with a salad, baked potato, and coleslaw. The server returned and told us there was no coleslaw at 5:00 PM. My dinner arrived, and I never received my salad. When the server came to check on us, I asked where my corn muffin was. The potato was cold and would not melt the hard butter pad I placed on it. Walked in, hostess was chit-chatting w/a server. 10min later she finally decided to seat us.Another 15min wait, female servers all gathered by the front doors talking w/each other & walking past us (not one asked us if we wanted something to drink). “Allen” finally walked up & apologized for us waiting so long. Soooo disappointed. We have been going to the League City Black Bear Diner for years. Food was good but The management has gone down hill fast. Wait staff were busting their butts today and the manager was wandering around totally ignoring the fact that they needed help. We waited 15 minutes at the counter to pay all the while 4 groups came in waiting to be seated.
