RecommendedOutstanding. Coming through town, stayed close by and decided to try it. Three adults: tri tip dip (deluxe) with salad, 2 scrambled eggs with waffle and link sausage, slow roasted pot roast with mashed potatoes, salad and green beans. Rhiannon was amazing - fun to watch her and the crew work together...fast and courteous. There was a table of 20 near us having a blast with the staff and enjoying their food/service, too. We're from KCMO - too bad there's not one closer! Cheers to Black Bear Diner!!
Our principal took us there for Coffee and conversations (Back to school breakfast) Friday, August 10th....we had a lot of people there. I believe our waitress was Samantha. She was phenomenal, super friendly and always there filling up our drinks. Fabulous experience.
My son and I loved Black Bear Diner—our first time here. I had the chicken fried steak which I never order anywhere but I had heard it was good and it was delicious! My son had the chicken pot pie and said it was creamy and tasty. Our server, Larry, was the best! We will be back and we hope Black Bear Diner comes to Dallas, TX soon! I never write reviews on websites so this place is special. 🐻😁🐻

Rhiannon was the best server! Pot roast, biscuits, mashed potatoes, California Eggs Benedict, cherry pie, all homemade stuff! Clean and nice place to go again and again!
