Very pleasant, you are seated when you enter, staff is helpful to 1st timers. Food was out in a timely manner. I got the meatloaf, baked potato,salad @ green beans. The wife got ribs, baked potato, green beans & salad. All is very good. Will come back.
I've been looking forward to eating at this place ever since Andrew Lawrence informed me how great it was. We arrived on Saturday night around 1930 and had to wait for about 10 minutes. There is some seating in the waiting area but not much - plan on standing if they are really busy. Once we were seated our waitress was there within two minutes to take out drink order. Our waitress was so awesome! She did everything she could to please us and make it a great experience. The rest of the staff spoke to us every time we made eye contact. The portions were huge and delicious. I had the cinnamon roll French toast, and it is to die for! I’m not one to post reviews usually but I can’t say enough good things about this place.
I had an excellent visit to the Black Bear Diner!! Myself, my husband and Mother as well as my sister all come to visit from East Texas to visit my kids in MWC. We were staying in Home 2 Suites and it was close enough we walked over for dinner. We had excellent service for a party of 9 in the bear den, friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING!!
