RecommendedI had an excellent visit to the Black Bear Diner!! Myself, my husband and Mother as well as my sister all come to visit from East Texas to visit my kids in MWC. We were staying in Home 2 Suites and it was close enough we walked over for dinner. We had excellent service for a party of 9 in the bear den, friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING!! It was AWESOME really enjoyed myself. If you enjoy cream pies you just might . want to get over there asap they are impressive to look at. Taco Salad is huge and the chicken enchiladas was great.

First time I went all the hostess greeted us everyone was amazing and our waitress was so nice and helpful the food was so good we had no problem and I will be back again for lunch and dinner.
Our server was absolutely amazing, she was friendly and super helpful with any questions we had. The portion sizes were huge, and I definitely had to waddle around campus after lunch, lol. I'm definitely impressed and can't wait to go back.
The menu selection is pretty basic diner flair . Our dinners where tasty the steamed veggies and mash potatoes where great. My side salad came with the dressing on the side with our me even making the request. Only suggestion is to move the host station out into the lobby so it can be more easily seen. The staff was very friendly except the young lady running the register never did speak.
