Great place and menu for a family gathering. They always serve abundant portions. This time I was disappointed at the size of a to go $5 dollar milkshake presented in in a medium sized coffee cup. This is the only thing I will not order again. The seven of us stayed three hours. Thank you BLACK BEAR DINER!
Drove from salinas to enjoy morning coffee service was excellent and our waiter was very friendly with the.the biggest smile ! We had a great breakfast and yummy biscuits m gravy!

We were in Monterey during Memorial Day weekend had an amazing experience with our server Ana. She was helpful ,friendly was able to answer my question even though it was busy . Was very patient since I've never been I had too many questions lol give that woman raised she's the best . Plus the burger I had was great it was a cheeseburger with bacon I forgot to take a picture. Thanks for the great food an service Ana.
