We have eaten both breakfast and dinner at other black Bears and have been very satisfied. However, this one wasn't as great. The pancakes fell short. Although the biscuits were good and the bacon was crispy - just a little too fatty. We will probably try it again and just order something different.
The customer service here is so good. The waiter came to our table to help us many times. Super nice. I got the cinnamon roll French toast. It was a bit too sweet but I guess I should have expected that . My over medium egg was mostly raw which was super yucky. My daughter loved her cute cub cake and her hot cocoa. My father-in-law liked his hickory ham minus the undercooked egg. My mother-in-law said her California omelette was amazing. My son also got the cinnamon roll French toast and said it was really awesome.

Whenever I am in town visiting family I have to come get the California Benedict it's my favorite breakfast dish any time of the day. Today did not disappoint. We had the best waiter AJ was super friendly and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Love this place!

This Black Bear Diner was really good and fast about getting us seated. And our server AJ was amazing and very attentive and making sure we had everything that we needed ! And kept our drinks full!

Good food--I like the country potatoes and biscuits in particular Good service (Gracen)--friendly and attentive Soooooo many bears--from the ketchup, to the decor, and exterior
