Based on the attached reports I agree that the breakfasts are good. I'd like to know what happens to the afternoon shift that makes the food so plain and the service really horrible.
I think the Host and the server who served us are prejudice folks. After 30 minutes of waiting to be given a table , I decided to question why the white couple who came after us were called ahead of us. The host lied and said he already called us . I saw that he changed the list missing my name on the list . We waited another 30 minutes for our food . Our server never came back we had to flag another server to inquire about our food . We will not ever be going back to the one in Roseville ever again! We've gone to , several other restaurants of their's and love them. , Yesterday while eating at the restaurant in Roseville we had the most ridiculous service, they got our order wrong, had to ask for napkins at least for five times, , had to ask for water at least three times then waited forever to receive our bill! Tried to complain to the manager on duty he was just this Ridiculous is anyone else there! Will never go back again!
My 6 year Son and his friend and I came in for lunch, I was seated right away but was greeted by the manager asking if we had been helped yet, i said no. He took what ordered, then our server brought the drinks back to us "saying i don't know what you ordered but here are your drinks" I said this goes to him and him and me etc. "he said" Ready to order i said yes. I have always loved black bear and honestly have always had a good experience with the service here. My main issue with this restaurant happened two nights ago at dinner. My husband, daughter and I were eating dinner and a cockroach crawled onto my husband mid-meal. Nothing kills your appetite more than a cockroach. We notified our server (whom was great) but I doubt this issue was addressed to management. I wont be coming back.

Today my family and I visited Black Bear Diner for breakfast, we were all excited to go. When we got there we were told there was going to be a 5 min wait to be seated, sure no problem, other people walked in and were seated after us!
