In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Great food and always friendly service. We go in about once a week and my daughter and husband love it. The tuna salad on the fit and light menu is really good and tastes fresh. My husband loves the bobs burger and my daughter gets the waffle with chicken strips. We are never disappointed, the food is always on point. Due to our work schedules, it's nice when you can go to a place to eat later in the evening and not feel like you're being rushed out or you don't get good service because they are closing.
