In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. It is my favorite place I live down south by the Palm Springs area so we don't have a Big Bear Diner every time I go to Salinas that is the place to go my favorite

I ate at the original up in Shasta City back in 95, never had a complaint with the food or service. Good food, great value, and awesome service available here in Salinas w/out the trip north!
