In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We ate here a year ago on our way back to Texas from Monterrey. It was fantastic.
Just spent a week vacation based in the hotel next door. We saw this place 200 ft. from our door and thought...how convenient, let's check it out. Turned out it was so good we ate there every night and had a couple great breakfasts there as well. Great food and very nice staff. I look forward to returning some day.
