I've been to Black Bear Diner 3 times but yesterday was the first time I was there to experience the hostess seating us and explaining the newspaper menu. That was unique! The food was very good. Our waitress forgot to bring us tobasco sauce but we were able to retrieve some from the hostess.
Just had brunch there today. The wait to be seated was long. But worth it. Our food came fast and we couldn't even eat all of it.
We drove all the way to the Signal Hill location because they seem to be the only location where the females actually keep the hair outta their face.Even though their not required to wear nets i felt very comfortable.The BBQ ribs were awesome as always and the staff so nice.My location from now on
