RecommendedBeen stationed overseas for some time now. Originally from California, and was passing through St. Charles. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Black Bear Diner in Missouri! A friend and I had to stop and experience a little nostalgia. Black Bear didn’t disappoint! Perfect portions and great customer service as always! Even brought back a chocolate cream pie for the misses. Thank you Black Bear Diner, we’ll be back!

The food was good like mom use to cook! Really good green beans & chicken fried steak! The serving size was also large. And the people were very friendly too! 👍❤️😘
This place was great overall! Our waitress seemed to forget about us for a while. But they just opened, so let’s chalk that up to “them working on getting there bearings”. The food was amazing, the cleanness was great and the wait for a table wasn’t too long even when they were very busy. I loved all the bear motif.
it was our first time, we waited a bit, but now I know why. Our server was Christy, she did a great job. This place was hoping. Food was wonderful we will be back.

Great food, fun atmosphere, family friendly and did I mention great food? Our server Raven was fantastic! She lights up the whole room. Definitely a regular place from now on.
Food is good. Getting food from the kitchen can take awhile. Liz is a GREAT waitress. She made our visit good.
