In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedGreat place to eat with great service. Wasn’t sure if they could pull off all my California favorites here in Missouri but it was just as good as all the California locations. Will not disappoint! Good eats!

Delish food and great service. Large portions. Be prepared to share or take home a box. Wish I had not eaten so much so I could have tried the desserts.
The atmosphere is awesome, and the menus featured local events that took place in 1976, taking us down memory lane. Has a full menu with lots of variety. Will go back again.
