In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. 10 of us for Christmas Eve Breakfast. 'Nick' was even our amazing server! The place was packed but everything was delicious😋 (We did call ahead to let them know we were coming and they were ready when we arrived!)

My family came in on Christmas for dinner. The place was packed! My husband and I are vegan and the special dinner menu didn't have any options for us. Randy was amazing in accommodating us. He made us food that we would eat and was extra kind in making our visit enjoyable. Not many places go out of their way in adapting their menus. Thank you Black Bear and Randy! �
