My husband and I visited the Tempe location for the first time the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was quite busy but they seated us as soon as they could. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly, very helpful, and provided good service. I got a fork that was dirty (something flaked off when I ran my thumbnail over it to see if it was just a water spot). Arrived Sunday morning around 7am. My husband and I was greeted and seated immediately. Marcy was our server and she was great. She suggested a few options for us since it was our first time at Black Bear Diner. I went with the biscuit and gravy (biscuits are huge! I had enough for lunch and dinner).
