Love the Black Bear Diner! Our food was delicious. They are still working out some "kinks", but server was very friendly & we had a good visit.
Pros: Great service. Fantastic food. Nice prices. Excellent atmosphere. Warm and inviting. Large portions except for... The one con: One waffle is over $8 and it's surprisingly small. Delicious but VERY overpriced for what you end up with. You'll leave hungry if you only get one.

At the Black Bear Diner, so far so hmmm...they are out of the fish and chips, and onion rings. So far feeling a little disappointed Ok reevaluation.... the house salad was fresh, cucumbers crispy, salad dressing creamy. Our meals have generous portions, wait staff attentive, but not intrusive. WOW... Go hungry ! Servings are big. Food was wonderful. It was very busy yet the service was still very good. My mom and I sat at the counter and it was a blast. We laughed with the wait staff, cooks ... Great atmosphere, Wonderful comfort food and Barbara did a wonderful job with our service. Even the gals at the cashiers desk were fun. Can't wait to take my husband this weekend.
