At the Black Bear Diner, so far so hmmm...they are out of the fish and chips, and onion rings. So far feeling a little disappointed Ok reevaluation.... the house salad was fresh, cucumbers crispy, salad dressing creamy. Our meals have generous portions, wait staff attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere pleasant, eclectic music, set at a volume that invites conversation with your tablemates. The menu choices while diverse are basic country comfort. WOW... Go hungry ! Servings are big. Food was wonderful. It was very busy yet the service was still very good. My mom and I sat at the counter and it was a blast. We laughed with the wait staff, cooks ... Great atmosphere, Wonderful comfort food and Barbara did a wonderful job with our service. Even the gals at the cashiers desk were fun. Can't wait to take my husband this weekend.
