From Porterville and had a bad experience there so the manager gave us gift certificates. My husband and I decided to go to the Visalia one instead. Overall our experience was great. This is our new Black Bear Diner for now on.
Awesome pot roast with veggies it was greeeaattt! Almost everything on the menu is delicious! Can't wait until we get one in Fresno!

Second time here. I do like the atmosphere, and the friendliness of the people working here. Food is plentiful and tasty. Have heard that they will be opening Black Bear Diners in Clovis and Fresno sometime in the next year which will be great. The only issue was this visit, the service was not up to par--waitress left us "dry" for too long--should have had our drinks refilled. Food was excellent and the service was wonderful. I told our waitress she was excellent. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. I will be back!
