It was very good food and excellent service. We were very happy with everything.

They boast about wowing the customers with their dishes and it's true. I love their taco salad. Fresh ingredients in a generous portion. Very tasty with enough to take home for lunch the next day. I tried their cheeseburger salad and was another hit. Each of these salads weighs in about 2 lbs. Expect quantity and quality in your orders. The bottomless soft drinks is always a nice touch too. Comfort food in a cozy location is a winning combination. My only suggestion is offer more seasonal specials and offer coupons on line.

I've eaten at Black Bear Diner since it opened and have never been disappointed. While their breakfasts are legendary we had a wonderful experience and good food on Thanksgiving when we found ourselves making alternate plans to our traditional at home celebration. Our waitress was a delightful young lady who made it all the better with her stellar service, but sadly I don't recall her name, but the receipt shows 'Host AM' 5:30 PM Table 35/2 so if the Manager can identify her by this, extra kudos to her great service and wond... read more
