If you are wanting to be part of the night life in whistler this is the best spot possible. If you are wanting quiet this may not be for you. We loved it though.

Great location, close to everything, right inside the village. Very nice staff, especially the Chilean staff. A bit noisy due to outside bars.

Parking was a nuisance. Expired at 3 pm. Had to leave hill to feed the meter. Would have been easier and cheaper to not use hotel rate and just buy the public rate $35/24 hours in the exact same lot and spot. Couldn't access parking through hotel stairs so used elevator but got yelled at by reception for taking skis in elevator. Entire kitchen set was in dishwasher "sanitized" but pan still had food on the sides.

Season opener. This was a one-night stay for us, ahead of our season opening day in Whistler. As prices have gone back up to pre-pandemic levels, we landed on Blackcomb Lodge. Great central location (it is the first construction at Blackcomb, back in the day...). The place feels a bit dated, but this applies to most of Whistler hotels. An upgrade in styling and finish is required to match the quality of resorts in Europe. But hey, we are here for the snow, so who cares.
