My Experience When you enter the door you are met with kindness and helpfulness starting at the front counter upon sign in! The dental assistant which performed her duties was very professional and gentle for my cleaning and encouraged continued care at home, it was a good visit!!

Minor cavity- too much novacaine The staff is always friendly and on time. Dr. Matheny is very nice. However, my last two cavities (several years apart) were not pleasant. They were small cavities and I don't get them often, but both times he numbs my whole face to the extreme. The first one I had even my eyelid was numb and I had trouble driving home as vision was affected. This time, it's been two days and my mouth is still sore on that side. We are so sorry that you felt this way after your treatment. Our office does everything possible to make treatment comfortable. In doing so, anesthesia is necessary. There is NO in between: you are numb or NOT numb. We do the same for every patient. We do not want you to experience pain during treatment. We are also very concerned about your time.
