Wonderful get away! My husband and I stayed at the 1889 WhiteGate Inn & Cottage for a quick anniversary trip. This was our first trip to a Bed & Breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay there! We booked a couples massage in our room. It was wonderfully relaxing! The B&B was quiet, the staff was very helpful and great to be around!!
Beautiful Property Our 2nd time here at Whitegate. Beautiful accommodations and grounds. Breakfast with dessert is awesome. Will definitely be back again.
Great experience and great location! My only complaint was the AC unit was a little loud and made it hard to sleep. Other than that zero complaints. We loved the food and the owner and the room was very nice.
10 year anniversary trip! We spent 3 nights in the oscar Wilde suite for our 10 year anniversary celebration. We could not have asked for a more hospitable, beautiful, and comfortable stay. Frank, Ralph, and the entire staff were spot on with service, advice, and knowledge of the city, and the food was SUPERB! I'm still missing my 3 course breakfasts! An inn not to miss! Our 2 night stay at the 1889 Whitegate Inn was exceptional. The inn is lovely as are the grounds even though spring had not yet sprung! Frank, Ralph, Thomas and Crystal were marvelous hosts and very entertaining as well. Breakfast is the best ever and is creatively presented...kudos to the chef! The afternoon social offers wonderful food and wine...don't miss this! The inn's location is very convenient to downtown Asheville...an easy walk. So much to see & do,
Birthday Get Away My husband and I have stayed in quite a few B&B's before, however, this was the BEST ever! Ralph, Frank, Crystal, Thomas, Chef and the rest of the staff were outstanding. The gourmet three course breakfasts are to die for and they are served in the dining room with china, Crystal and silver, with candle light. Unexpected This was the first B&B experience I've ever had, and I am sold in this experience! We enjoyed a wonderful social time with the guests, but the breakfast was to die for! Yes, the food was great, but the hosts were even better! I wish I could carry Frank and Ralph in my pocket everywhere because they are amazing!!!!
Great retreat The WhiteGate Inn & Cottage was a respite on a trip from Florida back to the DC area. Ralph and Frank were attentive owners and the staff was very gracious and helpful. We made use of the spa services which were wonderful and available in our room. Breakfasts are over the top!! Will be sure to visit again when we are in the area.
This 4 Star B&B should be ranked 5 Star! Great location! Gorgeous historic home kept up lovingly. Friendly and fun owners who encouraged and succeeded in getting the guests to enjoy each other' companionship. Can't wait to go back!
