I had my left eye cataract removed and opted to have the Toric IOL done. The staff at the Newark Ohio Bloomberg Eye was wonderful, very friendly and made me feel at ease with the procedure I was in and out in about an hour and a half. The procedure was very ease they used numbing eye drops had them about 4 times and a pill that goes under you tongue and melts away which helps you relax. I had my procedure in 2006 and I get my checkups here I love it there! I can still see great but if I had any problems they will correct it!
I just got blade-free custom Lasik yesterday and can already see pretty clearly today! The procedure itself was painless besides some burning afterwards. I have felt fine today and just have to put drops in my eyes four times a day for about a week. I'm 28 years old and have had to wear glasses or contacts since I was 7, so this surgery was completely life-changing for me! The doctors and staff were amazing and very friendly at Bloomberg Eye Center. I would highly recommend them! :)
I had laser surgery last fall with Dr Shaninfar. He and his staff were great. I love that I can see them in Logan for my follow ups! Would recommend them to anyone!!

In 2004 I went to Bloomberg with a detached retina. Dr. Shahinfar immediately performed emergency surgery. Since then I have returned every 6 months for follow up visits and I have always been treated with the utmost respect and care. Everyone is always friendly and anxious to help. Emergencies sometimes occur and can cause appointment delays but I would expect and want emergencies to take priority.

First visit for me. I only have one good eye, so it was good to see the attention to detail they were giving to my good eye. They understood the importance of having a good baseline with advanced photographs for future follow ups.

Wonderful staff and very knowledgeable and friendly doctors! I definitely recommend Bloomberg in Newark, Ohio! I went in to see about having Lasik done and they found out that I actually have early onset cataracts! Thanks to them being so thorough I will have the proper procedure done without just being pushed through the system! Thank you Dr Blausey for being friendly and through. �
