When cancelling a home rental in Sunriver due to the pandemic Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals deposit return policy was both misleading and unreasonable. We cancelled in time for a deposit refund and the contract states that "Guests who cancel prior to the cancellation deadline will be refunded their deposit, less a 15% cancellation fee". We cancelled before before the deadline and the refund was the deposit less 15% of the entire rental fee which included resort fees, taxes, and cleaning fee. Unfortunately there is no way to give zero stars. I have had the single most horrendous business experience in my life attempting to work with them in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Trust me, they just want your money. They have absolutely no qualms refusing to reschedule my vacation and taking my $11,500 dollars when it is not safe for my parents in their 80s to travel. We rented a condo at Depot Bay, Oregon this past June through Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals. After staying two nights we checked out and returned home. Before we checked out we dumped the garage, started the dishwasher and the washing machine. Straighten the rooms up and left. On July 2, 2018 while reviewing our bank statement we noticed a charge of $36.00 from Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals.
