RecommendedMy go to BMW store for 12 years, 2 purchases and 6 cars for service. BMW Seattle is the epitome of why buying a luxury car is worth the money......it’s more than a car, it’s an experience. Car and dealer. When shopping for my last car, I considered a non BMW, but then knew immediately I didn’t want to give up BMW Seattle service.

Bought a 2007 BMW TOOK THE CAR IN FOR FIRST OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD THE CAR NEEDED 4000 DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK. OIL LEAKS. WAIT IVE ONLY HAD THIS CAR A FEW MONTHS, WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT 152BPOINT INSPECTION? I was told tol it’s an 11 year old car you have to expect this to go wrong. Car had very low miles so was told this will happen when you start using them. Plastic heats up and cracks. Ok so I paid 12,600 and the first oil change it needs 4 thousand dollars worth of work. Used to be great to deal with but now I feel nickel and dimed each time I walk through their doors. Also don't expect to get a service loaner without having to wait 2 years.
In my nearly 50 years of life I've never had a worse vehicle service experience than at BMW of Seattle. I've owned several BMW's over the years and recently bought an pre-owned i3. The car is a 2016 and has 2 years and 27,000 miles left on its warranty. There is a known issue where the door handles fall off on the i3. I was experiencing this with mine, so I scheduled a service appoinment and drove the car to Seattle. Wondering if all BMW diesels are as horrible as ours....335d, 2010, <51,000 miles and the car has had carbon build up issues for the 2nd time....this time car has been in BMW Seattle for engine repairs 3 times in 3 weeks, at a cost in excess of $8000. BMW diesels have serious problems, will BMW stand by it's product....???
Advice please My BMW is getting a new engine under my existing warranty, which ends November. I would have expected them to extend the warranty on the new engine. However, that’s not their model. I’ve ran the issue up through the company with no luck. While nice to have a new engine its also terrible they wont stand behind it. If you have any advice or suggestions i would appreciate the help.
I brought my car for maintenance in early December 2017 and after they returned the vehicle back and found out my perfume and some items have been stolen from the car.
