We really enjoyed Boca! Good food and great service. It was a little warm in the restaurant but we would definitely go back!
The menu choices were nice and sounded wonderful but I felt the portions were very small for the price compared to comparable menu offering restaurants. I would go back for apps & drinks maybe.
We had tried Boca once for lunch and decided to give it another try. We sat at the bar as the bar scene was vibrant and good for people watching. Jim ordered a manhattan on the rocks which was very well crafted. However, I asked for a very dry Tanqueray martini. The hostess was friendly, our server was very courteous and helpful. Our dinner was very good, one if our favorite places!
Our experience started out positive - appetizers were great and the service friendly. Between appetizers and main course our service declined significantly. The staff seemed more interested in socializing and was very destracting. They convened in the table behind us and the tale out window. We were seated in the back and the staff and I believe management spent most of the time going back and forth between their second restaurant (Oyster Bar). The restaurant was significantly understaffed. Our waiter was GREAT but clearly overextended. Diminished quality of the experience.
This place is so hit and miss. The food is usually good. But the servers and the time it takes other your food fluctuate from mediocre to horrible. If they could get it together this would be a great place.
It was good but the "best pork chop in the word" was secretly $43. But I didn't ask the price so my bad.
Our server Andy, a female, was awesome. However, I always get the Meat loaf and this time for some reason it was good but not as good as usual. It did not have any of the wonderful white sauce that usually compliments the dish. However I would give it a try again. Delicious. One of our favorite restaurants to go to in Winter Park Barbara
