This is the third time I have had dinner at this restaurant. Service was very good although the young lady seemed overwhelmed because of the crowd. I had the peppers for an appetizer and they were undercooked. My entree was the meatloaf it was overcooked and very dry. Could not eat more than two bites. We also had a pizza and it was pretty good. Do not see any reason why to return with the other choices we have in this area.
Simple but classy atmosphere. Food is flavorful with great presentation. Wait staff is friendly and attentive.
Always going to be my favorite place!!
Burger and short rib was great . Gnocchi was just ok. Beet cake desert was great in spite of the name. Would definitely go back.
A favorite of ours on the Avenue, for its fresh selections and friendly service. This visit, my friend (first time visitor) preferred the fresh, locally-sourced vegetarian options, given her role as a Facilitator for a Lifestyle Improvement Program. This place is always consistent with their food. Ice ever had anything bad. My husband ONLY gets the tuna because he swears it's the best he's had anywhere. I like to try a little of everything and have yet to be disappointed.
I used to eat at the Boca in Tampa lots when I lived there. Loved it. Came by the Winter Park location earlier this week and it was very bleh. The food was good, no surprise there. The service was god awful slow. For some reason there was a server cart with bottles of water and trays for the wait staff sitting next to our table so got to experience the joys of that throughout our meal. The mixologist is awesome the drinks are the best and each have a signature twist to them. Flat bread and truffle fries!
Farmer Salad was off the charts GREAT!! AMAZING. Ordered a burger medium well, and get it served rare (pink) Server checked in to ask how we were doing, how everything was...told him they didn't cook the burger to "medium well" and showed him. He apologized. Manager came over and and apologized, took it off the bill, comp'd a dessert. Turned a bad situation into a positive one...one that will warrant a return trip back!
