I am in my mid '60's and go with a gal pal about 10 years older and a friend in his late 30's. We love the food, the wines, the hostess, the servers and the atmosphere. It is a very good/welcoming place. I think they get more customers in their late 20's to 40's, but I feel very comfortable with all the clientele.
I have been here multiple times and the food, service and atmosphere is consistent. Will continue to return for business and pleasure.
Great service and great food. Fresh greens grown, cut and served right in the dining room. Very good all around.
We ate outside and there was a man who appeared to be known to the staff sitting on a bench near our table. He continually talked out loud about something nonsensical ending in "bam you're dead". Not an ideal setting. I do believe staff tried to contain him and it is a public space. Though it was a beautiful evening to eat outside I would not recommend it. And there were limited options for vegetarians.
Really enjoyed my visits so far to Boca. The server brought out the wrong food to our table and then told us it was our meal after we questioned it. Then came back three minutes later to say she made a mistake after we started eating anyway after she disappeared. BUT, that was the only miscue I've experienced in a few visits and the food is always great.
Boca is quickly becoming a favorite spot for a nice lunch, sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of the avenue. The food is different than the usual fare, try the fried green tomatoes, very good!
Food was excellent, service was too. I think I was expecting something a little more formal, or polished, and I am not saying that as a negative, just not what I expected. Definitely worth a return visit for a laid back, casual foodie experience.
Great place to eat and people watch. The food is fantastic and service is good. We have to wait a bit for our table as I requested an outside table on my reservation and it took them awhile to clean off an empty table. I had to remind the hostess 3 times we were still waiting (about 15-20 min) for the table to be cleaned and seat us. She acknowledged she kept forgetting about us as it was very busy.
I felt that overall this was just so-so. For a place that claims they locally source, we were disappointed that there weren't any local craft beers available. The food was okay and service could've been better.
