Crabcakes need a new recipe/ingredients-they tasted a little fishy, pasta & burgers were good, shrimp was delicious, 2 for $38 beverage deal was very nice. We were not offered enough water throughout the evening unfortunately. The requirements and stipulations set forth on the # of attendees and spending limit were kind of rigid for a regular citizen - non business group.
We had an up/down experience at Bond 45. First, when you walk into the restaurant - you're in the bar area - which is confusing because you're not sure you are in the right place - especially when there is no hostess at the desk (for almost 10 minutes). To get to the dining room, they walk you through the bar area and through the middle of the open kitchen area to get to the large dining area - weird. The restaurant wasn’t at all busy when we arrived or even when we left. When we first sat down our server was very friendly and professional. The prices were a little higher than we expected but the location is excellent and the decor is very nice so we shouldn’t have been surprised. The bone-in tomahawk speaks for itself. Perfectly prepared, juicy & flavorful. It was the perfect birthday meal. I look forward to my next visit.
Great place to go on a nice date, love the candlelight dinner, the service was excellent and the food was sooo good! We will definitely be coming back.

This was my first visit to Bond 45 and I was impressed. The food was fantastic.
Bond 45 is my favorite restaurant in National Harbor. My husband and I have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and meals with friends every year for the past few. The food is outstanding and the service matches it. In addition, it is a traditionally decorated restaurant with mirrors, wood etc. Lunch, a quick bite in the bar or an elaborate meal is cooked, served and then enjoyed. Also, I have never felt rushed.
Beautiful place to celebrate an anniversary. The manager and waiters took great care of us and made us feel very special. We love Bond 45 and plan on celebrating the rest of our special occasions here!
