My wife’s birthday is a bit challenging because it coincides with Valentine’s Day but the staff at Bond 45 at National Harbor made her feel special and celebrated. It was much appreciated & we will definitely be back!
We were there to celebrate two retirements. The manager, John Edward, greeted us and could not have been more customer friendly and made us feel as though we were the only people there. We talked with him about the restaurant as well as the one in New York. He is truly an asset to the restaurant. Following him the server was excellent as well. I was one of the first customers who went when 45 openedmy only issue is you used to get warm cookies throughout the meal and they were bigger and the type of popover that they used to serve were different so it seems that they stream line the menu to cut costs and I definitely understand but I’d like to see some of those things come back but I was happy Also the cowboy ribeye
This was my 4th time at BONDS45, the first 3 being under the guise of a steakhouse. As a steakhouse, I found it to be rather expensive for a not-so-outstanding steak. This last visit was during "Restaurant Week", and I ordered all Italian dishes, as the restaurant considers itself to be an Italian Restaurant. Needless to say, it fell way below my expectations. I do not expect to return.

Service was extremely slow and the restaurant was empty. Food was lukewarm, salad lackluster, pasta disorganized mess. The views were amazing though!
Bond 45 was wonderful. My wife and I were going to a concert at the MGM and wanted to enjoy dinner overlooking the waterfront. We had our own waiter, Darien, who provided us with exceptional service and suggestions throughout the entire meal. My wife had the Scallops with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and I had the 14oz Ribeye with a glass of the Schug Cabernet. For dessert we split the tiramisu. We both thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and restaurant.
