Bond 45 National Harbor has become our 'go to' restaurant at National Harbor. Every time we go, it is a great dining experience. The service is outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and are competent and personable. The food always meets or exceeds expectations. The menu selection fits most tastes and the food quality and presentation are always voile! Did I mention one of the best views at National Harbor? Make a date for Bond 45!
It was Christmas Eve, and our server was Noel. How fortunate is that! This is a wonderful place if you have a very large bankroll. Simple things cost 12-20 dollars, the usual entres are in the 40s. Food is excellently prepared and plentiful, not those tiny center-of-the-plate servings that some restaurants use to look fancy. For a special occasion, it is worth it.
This is the second time I've taken guests to Bond 45 and both dining experiences were exceptional. The food is excellent and the service impeccable!
My LB's and I celebrating our anniversary had a great drinks and meals...a bit pricey but expected.
First time ordered the chateaubriand and it was memorable. Second time ordered the aged bone-in cowboy. It was undercooked, but they got it right the second time. Unfortunately my wife finished her meal when the steak returned. Her food fish had way to much butter. I would have not been happy with the fish or the accompanying vegetables because of the butter. Our bill was $150 for sparkling water shared salad, fish, steak and shared desert. Definitely special occasions only for me.
The restaurant was nice. The food was just ok and you get very large portions so a great place to share. Also, they give out hot cookies after dinner so you don't need to order dessert.
This place is amazing! Me and my boyfriend go to national harbor each year for vacation and this place has become our favorite spot to eat.we always get the porterhouse steak to split with the garlic mash potatoes to share and it is the perfect meal! This year we sat my the window and got to see everything outside which made the experience even more amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone. The mozzarella cheese was out of this world, paired with prosciutto, arugula and tomato. Went here to celebrate my husbands birthday and couldn't be happier. Great service and great food. Highly recommend their steak. My husband has multiple food allergies and the restaurant was able to accommodate him and even change the menu items to fit his needs. I've visited many of the steakhouses in the DMV, and Bond 45 tops my list! The steak was incredible--it seemed to melt in my mouth. Eating there requires planning and it may take a little while to get there, as National Harbor isn't convenient to Metro. However, it's well worth your travel time. It may not be your regular hang-out, but I'd recommend it for any special occasion!
