This was my third experience at Bond 45. The first experience was in NYC. It was great. The last two were at the National Harbor, MD. I don't know if it was the excitement of being in NYC or what but the National Harbor store left me wanting. The chicken in the Chicken Pharm was, if we didn't know better, breast (dark) meat. Everything was wonderful about this restaurant. It was my graduation dinner and we had a great waiter, service and small nook of the dining area that was perfect for our party of 8! They only down side to the whole night was there are only two bathrooms in the entire establishment, and half way through the night they locked one of them for some reason and the other ran out of toilet paper and paper towels so I improvised and used a toilet seat cover. There were four diners. All meals were excellent except for one. A ribeye steak was ordered. The server returned to say there were no more ribeyes apologized and suggested a N.Y. steak. Medium well steak was ordered with just a slight bit of pink but the steak was rare. The manager apologized and tried again and again the steak was rare. Free deserts were offered plus drinks for the errors. Have dined at Bond 45 many times and this was the first time that the meal was not up to standards of past experiences. Anniversary
My wife and a few friends celebrated our 21st anniversary and we couldn’t have been more happier with Bond 45. The greeters were young but very professional. The server was attentive but did not come around for more than 20 minutes after our food was brought to us. The food was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan and it was a lot to handle. We will definitely be back.
So I'm torn on this place. First and foremost the food was very good, and the servers were very friendly. However there were 3 things that set the experience back. 1) At the end of the meal we noticed that all tables had received bread, and we had not. As bread lovers we were disappointed (only figured it out after eating dessert). 2) Servers were a little slow on the drink refill. Ate dinner while in Baltimore and staying at Gaylord Palms. The staff was friendly and attentive but at times confused. The burrata with heirloom tomatoes was delicious and I ended up ordering two of those along with a Ceasar for dinner. With hindsight I would have skipped the Ceasar and ordered a chicken Parmesan instead. Ate at Th bar on a Saturday, was lively and upbeat. Live music would have been nice.
The food was amazing and the manager was beyond generous! Such a lovely night!
