Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

One of our friends made a dietary request to the waitress who noted it. When the meal was delivered, the request had been ignored and had to be sent back for recooking. That meant his meal was 10 to 15 minutes later than the others at the table. No attempt was made to offer anything for the oversight such as a free dessert, etc.
The space is louder that the prior location, making conversation difficult at times.

Bond 45 is a must when in Manhattan. The service, food, and wine are amazing. The portions are large and, even if you don't have room, order the cheesecake for dessert! Take it home if you have to. It's the best! The service begins at the door with a friendly greeting and quick seating. Our waiter and sommelier were very friendly and attentive to the table. Overall dining experience was excellent. Food was very good, along with the service. If I had to say only one negative, the bathrooms should not be “co-ed”. Although it might be a sign of the times, still not appropriate.
Our waitress was amazing. So down to earth...even offered us a homemade chocolate chip cookie for dessert. She was soooo sweet!! Food was great, drinks were great, everything was just perfect!
Food was good, very noisy, service was efficient but not overly friendly. The old Bond 45 was much classier. This will do for a quick bite before the show.
