Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

This was my Third time at Bond 45 and the first time for a pre theatre Sunday Lunch. We were greeted warmly, shown to our table, and had wonderful service. Our waiter was friendly, accommodating, and well trained to use his judgement while not being a robot. The pear and roquefort salad was wonderful as well as our branzino and snapper. Even the coffee was fresh, rich and tasty. Excellent!!

Food was good but could have found similar food for lower prices. Service was mediocre we felt rushed.
On top of the food being of top quality and diverse, having JD as our waiter (and thanks to BPND 45 for making sure he is when we make our reservations) always caps off a wonderful dining experience.
Went for brunch, our choice of food was delicious, the staff was very attentive without being annoying.
I brought my wife here for our first anniversary dinner. The food was great, the service was great, the only complaint I have was it was not a place for a romantic dinner setting. We were basically sitting on top of 2 other couples that we didn't know. If I would have known that I wouldn't of came here for our first anniversary dinner. For the amount of money I paid I would of thought it was more of a romantic setting and not sitting with strangers. Can't say I'd cone back here for an anniversary dinner.
Have been here on many occasions over the past several years. The menu has changed, the prices have increased and the overall quality is not like it used to be. Up until nine months ago their bread was second to none. It seems they are now using a different vendor for their bread and was not edible. Actually, it's terrible. In a part of town with few non-tourist choices, the food quality stands out. We particularly enjoy the antipasti selection which is very sharable, and the pizzas are thin and crispy crust with amazing toppings so very tasty without overdoing the carbs.
I've been to Bond 45 several times, pre-Theatre. It's very convenient if you're going to see a show, the atmosphere is fun and the food is pretty good. I've recommended it to others and I will certainly go again. My one quibble is that it's just too expensive. I don't mind paying more for an excellent meal, but I just don't think the food is outstanding enough to warrant the price tag. On my last visit, what was especially outstanding was the service.
