Great restaurant in the Theatre District. Lots of good food choices and the chocolate mousse is to die for! It's also large enough to share. Very attractive setting and very good service.
Great place for fresh homebaked meals and superior NYC standard of service.
First time for us here, and we were treated like regulars despite 20 minutes late due to baby sitter. we called to warn we were running late, and were thanked for it by manager Jeff on arrival. seated immediately, and our waiter John was one of the best waiters we have ever had as native New Yorkers. We arrived 6:05 with 7 PM curtain 1 block away and were out before 6:55 without feeling rushed for a second. We went before seeing Hamilton as it is right across the street and service was excellent and attentive. We had the chicken parmigiana which is great, and the branzino also was very good and reasonably priced. Crowded but we had a good table out of the mayhem of the bar area. I do love the new digs compared to the old as far as ambiance. Will definitely go back!
I miss the elegance of the original Bond 45. While the food was OK at best, the touristy set up of the dining room is very disappointing, extremely cramped, and loud. The clubby feel of the original restaurant is entirely gone. The bar upstairs is nothing in comparison to the retro original. The bar downstairs is interesting and probably the most successful element of the new Bond 45. I would go back for a drink downstairs but only dine upstairs in a pinch.
Great food! Better yet, the people. Jeff, the BEST, shout out to Tad and Jonathan, our server, did a great job.
Took a while to get seated. The waiter didn't seem to care at all, never showed up.
We really enjoyed the ambiance and service here.
Love the new location. Staff very attentive.
