The place is quite nice. The service was excellent. However we ordered a Porterhouse for two Medium/well and it arrived closer to medium rare/medium. We did not send it back due to time constraints but was definitely disappointed with the steak which had a price tag of $108.

I must have walked passed this place 1,000 times and always saw the big neon sign thinking it was some cheezy Times Square rip-off. Boy was I wrong!!! A friend told me it was his go to place pre- theatre so my family (husband and 2 college students) tried it post matinee. The ambiance was very elegant yet comfortable and understatedly well decorated for the holidays. I had the vegetarian veal parmagian which was one of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever had For appetizers we shared the Fried Shrimp and Calamari,The special... read more

My husband and I booked this restaurant for its close-proximity to the Broadway show we were seeing and really enjoyed the food. The steaks were perfect and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Our service however could have been better, that almost ruined the special dinner, our first time trip to New York City; our server wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either; it was obvious he was unhappy we weren't over indulging on our meal. All in all, we would definitely go again for a great meal and atmosphere if in ... read more

We have gone to Bond 45 for years for family dinners 3 or 4 times per year. It is typically a fun place for large get togethers. The food was solid (but not outstanding). The veal is magnificent in both quantity and quality. The Cesar salad dressing was changed, but good. Unfortunately, our waiter ignored us. The service was very slow and generally unpleasant. We talked to some of the other customers who felt exactly as we did. Hopefully, this was the result of an off night and not a pattern. I certainly would not rush back.

Service was quite good, but, this place is quite ordinary except for it's theater convenient location. Very noisy with a very tired menu.

We have been going for years for a quick dinner before theatre which is what is is good for. The wait staff are professional and curteous. Not a restaurant for dining. Menu has gotten very stale. They need some more vegetarian dishes and create some new appetizers and main courses.

This has become our go-to place for pre-theater dining and it's never disappointed us. The menu is richly varied, the food good to excellent, the ambiance bustling and full of energy without being noisy or crowded, and the wait staff extremely attentive -- no need to worry about missing your curtain. Don't miss the chocolate-coated peanut brittle on the way out.

We enjoyed the holiday decorations, friendly service and vibrant atmosphere during Christmas week. The convenient location and attentive service allowed us extra time to enjoy our meal before our show. The menu had great choices for everyone including a vegan. All of our dishes were prepared well, and we especially enjoyed the Roman fried artichokes.

Although we go to the theater often, we rarely have dinner in the theater district. Usually, the food is mediocre and overpriced. Although Bond 45 is a Manhattan-priced restaurant, the food was quite good. There are plenty of options, including for vegetarians. My guests enjoyed the open lasagne, cheese ravioli and risotto with scallops while I have the vegetarian "veal" parmigiana made from seitan cutlets. All the food was excellent and portions were robust. The only shortcoming was that our wait staff person had a table of... read more
