Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

An interesting remake of the original on 45th Street. We ate on the basement level which is decorated with flat screens showing ocean views so it's not your typical "cellar" environment. Food was good and the service was prompt and friendly.
Food was wonderful and the service was terrific!
We love Bond 45 for pre-theater dining. The food is consistent and delicious. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. If they are aware that you are going to the theater, they will make sure you are out in time without feeling rushed. We missed them during their move from 45th to 46th Street but are very happy to have them back in a lovely new setting.
If you sit downstairs by the entrance in winter, expect a stiff breeze.
My husband and I ordered the eggplant with pappardelle. I noticed that it was very spicy after a bite which I had not expected. The waiter was solicitous. He checked with the kitchen and found that they eggplant had a marinade that included red pepper flakes. I usually specify no spices especially pepper but hadn't expected this plate to have it. Went here for the first time since they reopened. The food was spectacular! The veal chop Parmesan was sooo awesome! As was all the pasta and everything else we tried. The service was outstanding. Loved it!
Bond 45 is a beautiful restaurant with good service and a huge menu. My crab nd avocado salad was delicious. It’s my favorite pre-theater restaurant.
Excellent food. Very in consistent service. long waits between courses. Forgot to bring pre- arranged dessert for a birthday. Attentive managers but still gkitches in the kitchen.
Outstanding! Perfect for theater night. Amazing Italian cuisine, a true jewel.
